Roberts, Patricia Jae Williams Patricia Jae Roberts, 69, widow and business partner of noted Chase County cowboy Gerald Roberts, died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005, at her home north of Abilene.
She was born July 8, 1936, in Newton, the daughter of Clarence and Carol Kilpatrick Williams. She graduated from Newton High School with the Class of 1954.
In 1966, she married Gerald Roberts and for many years, they owned and operated a Chap-Parel
Manufacturing Co., west of Abilene. He died Dec. 31, 2004.
She is survived by a son, Jim Roberts of Abilene; five daughters, Joye Turner of Miami, Okla, Lala Roberts of Waxahachie, Texas, Kasey Smith of Carrollton, Texas, Geri Roberts of Irving, Texas and Claudette Roberts of Lancaster, Calif.; a brother, Tom Williams of Valley Center, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-greatgranddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jaye Roberts; and two sisters, Twyla Pankratz and Iris Clark.
The funeral was Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005, at the Abilene Brethren in Christ Church. The Rev. Stan Norman officiated. Burial was in Abilene Cemetery.
