Robidou, Betty Jo White

Betty Jo Robidou, 65, of Council Grove died Sept. 12, 2002, at the Mercy Health Center on College in Manhattan. The Mass of Christian Burial was Sept. 16, 2002, in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery at Council Grove. Mrs. Robidou was a house- keeper for home health care in the area and also was a 4-H project leader.

Betty Jo White, the daugh- ter of Floyd and Ruth Logue White, was born March 13, 1937, in Morris County. She attended Council Grove High School. She married James Robidou on June 4, 1954, at St. Rose Catholic Church. He died Aug. 14, 1994.

Mrs. Robidou was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Council Grove and St. Rose Alter Society. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies' Auxiliary to Frederick Phillips Post 121. She is survived by four daughters, Pam Summer of Council Grove, Deb Mayer of Alta Vista, Rose Wittman of Salina and Brenda Robidou of Indianapolis, Ind.; one son Denis Robidou of Council Grove; two sisters, Dorothy Burnaugh and Carolyn Julian, both of Council Grove; one brother, Ted White of Cottonwood Falls; 10 grand- children; and two great-grand- children.

Two brothers, Floyd White and Don White, and a grand- son also died earlier. Memorial contributions to the Betty and Jim Robidou Scholarship Fund or the church building fund can be sent to the Memorial Chapel of the Flint Hills, 137 N. Union St., Council Grove, KS 66846.
