Robinson, Cleo B

Cleo B. Robinson, 78, died at Newman Regional Health Sept. 22, 2002. Funeral ser- vices were held Sept. 25, 2002, in the Brown-Bennett- Alexander Funeral Home with the Rev. Pat Ireland officiating. Burial was in Prairie Grove Cemetery.

Cleo Belle Mitchell was born on April 14, 1924, in Burns to William H. and Cora Hart Mitchell. She married Donald W. Robinson on May 2, 1948, in Cottonwood Falls. He died on Dec. 31, 1992. Mrs. Robinson owned and operated Cleo's Antiques in Cottonwood Falls. She and her husband owned and operated the Mathias IGA Grocery Store in Cottonwood Falls for 33 years retiring in 1980. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cottonwood Falls.

She is survived by a son, Mark Robinson of the home; and a brother, Homer J. Mitchell of El Dorado; and two granddaughters, Tina and Brenna. She was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Lacer. Memorials are suggested to the Chase County Emergency Medical Service in care of the funeral home.
