Robison, Eva

Eva Wynell Robison, 61, of Garden City, Mo., died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2004, at Research Medical Center, Kansas City.

Eva Kemp, the daughter of Nathaniel Taft and Ophia Hope Kemp Thedford, was born March 10, 1943, at Littlefield, Texas.

On June 11, 1960, she married Jackie Don Robison in Littlefield, Texas.

She was employed as merchandiser for 28 years for J.C. Penny's Store before her retirement in 2002, from the Clinton, Mo. store. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Garden City, where she helped with the children's nursery department.

She is survived by her husband of the home; two sons, Rodney Robison, Cottonwood Falls and Charlie Robison, Hays; a daughter, Rhonda Updegrove, Chanute; nine grandchildren; a great- grandson; and a sister, Bernadine Dawson, Jacksonville, Txas. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Edwin Thedford.

Funeral services were Sept. 4, 2004, at Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Mo., with Rev. Jeff Funderburk and Doyle Copeland officiating. Burial was in Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, Mo.
