Rosebraugh, Leroy Guy
Leroy Guy Rosebraugh, 62, of Augusta, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008.
Services were held Monday, March 3, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial was at Elmwood Cemetery,
Augusta.
He was born at Emporia on May 15, 1945; son of the late Guy and Fern (Gable) Rosebraugh. He graduated
from Matfield Green High School in 1963 and attended Pittsburgh State University for two years.
He retired from BNSF Railroad as a Section Foreman in 2005 after 40 years. He was a very active person being involved with Boy Scouts of America Troop 209 and as a Unit Commissioner; a muzzle loader and buckskinner; a 32nd Degree Mason. He was a 5th degree black belt in Olinawan Karate who trained many students at Johnson Street Dojo.
On Sept. 5, 1970, he married Gloria Frazier in Wellington. She survives.
He is also survived by daughter, Christina Rosebraugh of Wichita; son, Spencer Rosebraugh of Augusta; mother, Casilda Rosebraugh of Emporia, brother Robert Jones of Emporia; two sisters, Deanna Starkey of
Cottonwood Falls and Virginia Peterson of Bazaar; and aunts, uncles and cousins from the Rosebraugh and Gable sides of the family.
