Rowley, Frank F Jr Frank F. Rowley Jr., 66, died May 8, 2005. Visitation was held Wednesday, May 11, 5-8 p.m. at the Baker Funeral Home,
Valley Center.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 12, at 2 p.m. at the
Calvary Baptist church, Valley Center.
Frank, the son of Frank F. Sr. and Thelma Young Rowley, was born April 14, 1939, in Wichita. He moved to Valley Center in 1943 where he attended school until 1953. He then transferred to Sedgwick High School, graduating in 1957. Following graduation, he attended Friends University for two years.
On Aug. 27, 1960, he married Marilyn Mercer. He was a farmer and inventor.
He is survived by his wife; and children, Fran Wilson, Ft. Gibson, Okla., Deborah Stephan, Fishers,
Ind., Meredith Holdaway, Valley Center, Andrea Rowley, Lenexa and Ryan Rowley, Sedgwick; his mother and brother, Larry Rowley, all of Valley Center; and 12 grandchildren.
Frank was preceded in death by his father.
The family has designated the Frank F. Rowley Jr. Memorial fund to further the interest of those in entrepreneurship. Contributions to the fund may be made in care of the Baker Funeral Home, P.O. Box 242, Valley Center, KS 67147.
