Sauble, Mary Packard Palmer
Mary Sauble, 85, died Dec. 31, 2007, at the Harry Hynes Hospice, via Christi St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita.
Mary Packard Palmer was born June 15, 1922, at Kansas City, KS. She was the daughter of Tom and Margaret McFadden Palmer. She was raised in Kansas City and attended school there.
She attended Kansas State University where she met Pat Sauble. They were married Sept. 26, 1942, at the Episcopal Church in Kansas City.
She was a homemaker, assisted with operating the ranch and owned and operated Marys Antiques in Florence. She was a member of the KansaS Livestock Association and Kappa Kappa Gamma.
She is survived by her husband; a son David of Taos, N.M.; Susan Hague of Cedar point and Ann Carpenter of Sedona, Ariz.; a brother, Cruise Palmer of Kansas City, a brother-in-law, Joe Loriaux of Manhattan, Kan.; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was Saturday, Jan. 5, at the Cedar Point School with Pastor George Lespagnard officiating. Interment followed at the Griffith Cemetery south of Cedar Point.
Memorials have been established with either the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or the Harvey House Museum at Florence in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm, Marion, KS 566861.
