Sherbert, Lyndsay Rae

Lyndsay Rae Sherbert, 15, died July 24, 2003, near Florence in an automobile

Lyndsay Rae Sherbert, the daughter of Daniel and Luanne Molzen Sherbert, was born Aug. 31, 1987, in Newton. She would have been a junior this upcoming school year. She was a member of the Congregational Church and of the Congregational Church Youth Group in Kinsley.

Survivors include her parents Daniel of Marion and Luanne of Kinsley; two brothers, Dustin Sherbert, Manhattan and Joey Shipman, Kinsley; a sister, Jayden Hallowell, Florence; grandparents, William and LaDonna Sherbert, Marion and Allen and Catherine Molzen, Belvue; and great-grandfather, Bert Sherbert, Wakefield.

The funeral service was July 29 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Marion. The Rev. Alan Stahlecker officiated and burial was in Marion Cemetery. There was a memorial service July 30 at The Congregational Church in Kinsley with Pastor Sarah officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House and the Lyndsay Sherbert Memorial Scholarship Fund.
