Sullivan, John William
J. W. SULLIVAN DEAD
J. W. Sullivan who has been ill at his home in this city for the past
several months died at 9:00 o'clock Monday morning, December 2nd.
The funeral services were held at the family home north of the High School
at 1:00 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Rev. J. E. Bryan preaching the sermon,
after which the remains were taken to Bazaar where interment was made in the
Bazaar cemetery.
The death of Mr. Sullivan will bring regret to many here as he was one of
the old residents of the Bazaar vicinity where he and his family were widely
known. He had been in failing health for over a year and last summer he and
his wife went to Colorado Springs in the hopes that a change of climate
might give him relief, but in this they were disappointed and since their
return to this county he has been in a serious condidtion a good part of the
time.
