Thompson, Emma Rose EMMA ROSE/ROSE EMELY PATTON THOMPSON

Notes: Emma Rose or Rose Emely Patton was born July 17, 1865, in Sullivan Co., Indiana, and died April 22, 1885 in Clements, Chase Co., Kansas. She was the daughter of John Patton & Mary Ann Ring Patton who lived on a farm just south of the Clements Stone Arch Bridge.
On July 26, 1882, in Lyon Co., KS, she married John Thompson born 1854 (he was shown as 28 yrs of age, of Clements, when they married).
They had one child, a son, Harry Thompson born Sept. 13, 1883. He died August 15, 1893 in Clements, of typhoid fever.
Emma's death is recorded in her sister, Mary Anna Patton Hawkins' bible as "Emma Thompson died April 22, 1885"
Her death does not appear in the Death book of Chase County.
