Thompson Gladys Miller
Gladys I. Thompson, 72, of Cottonwood Falls died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004, at Morris County Hospital in Council Grove.
The daughter of Glenn and Esther Danford Miller, she was born Jan. 1, 1932, in Allen. She married Warren Thompson on Feb. 2, 1953. He died March 18, 2004.
Mrs. Thompson, a home-maker, helped her husband farm. She was a member of the Sunshine Club and the Bunco Club.
She is survived by two
daughters, Vichy Lyon of Emporia and Nancy Brasher of Galva; two sons, Kevin Thompson of Cottonwood Falls and Mark Thompson of McPherson; four brothers, Kenneth Miller of Emporia, Keith Miller of Strong City, Bobby Gene Miller of Laredo, Texas, and Paul Miller of Pineville, La.; and eight grandchildren.
Two sons, George Thompson and David Thompson; three sisters; and one grandson died ear-
lier.
The funeral was Thursday, Aug. 5, in the Croy Funeral Home at Cottonwood Falls. The Rev. Stanley Hughes conducted the service. Burial was in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
