Tregellas, EvaJean "EJ"
EvaJean Tregellas, 76, died May 6, 2008.
She was born Oct. 26, 1931, at Cottonwood Falls, the daughter of Flora Cordelia Britain Long and Jesse James Long.
She graduated in 1949 from Chase County Community High School at Cottonwood Falls and attended Kansas State Teachers College at Emporia. In 1952 she moved to Wichita.
She was baptized at an early age in the Methodist Church and later in life at Westside Christian Church in Wichita.
She is survived by a daughter, Denise Marie Jausoro, Ketchikan, Alaska; two sons, Roger Drummond Burright and Douglas Freeman Burright, both of Wichita; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; three sisters, Betty Yeager, Marge Clark and Wilma Lou Tabing; and two brothers, Robert Long and William Long.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters, Helen Bash, Mary Overstreet and Marlene Hall.
Services were Friday, May 9, at Pavilion, Wichita Botanica Gardens, Wichita.
