Vestering Marie McCabe

Marie McCabe Vestering, 89, died Feb 03, 2002, at Goddard. Funeral services were Feb. 6, 2002, at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Garden Plain. Interment was in St. Anthony Cemetery, Garden Plain.

Marie McCabe was born in Chase County, Aug 2, 1912. She married Harry T. Vestering. He is deceased. She was a farmer and school teacher.

Survivors include four sons, Joe Vestering, Wichita; Henry Vestering, Mt. Vernon; Frank Vestering, Wichita; and Tom Vestering, Garden Plain; three daughters, Mary Ann Steffan, Morton, Ill.; Betty Pitman, Springfield, Mo.; and Joan Mies, St Marks; 38 grandchildren and 53 great-grandchildren. Memorials are suggested to Hospice Care of Kansas. Arrangements wer by Wulf-Ast Mortuary, Garden Plain.
