Ward, Lloyd L Lloyd L. Ward, 84, died suddenly of natural causes at his home near Bazaar Friday, Oct. 22, 2004. A military graveside service was conducted Oct. 27, 2004, at Mulvane Cemetery in Mulvane.
Lloyd L. Ward was born on April 24, 1920, in Gillum, Ark. to Tom and Forrest Ward. He was married to Betty Giles Ward and Berl Stout Ward and
they both preceded him in death.
Mr. Ward was a painter for Boeing Aircraft in Wichita for 27 years, retiring in 1977. He was a member of the Christian Church in Mulvane and attended the Bazaar United Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II.
He is survived by a son, Dennis Ward, of
Anchorage, Alaska; daughters, Sue Ward Lee of Anchorage, Alaska and Janet Clarke of Warrenton, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Besides his two wives he was preceded in death by a sister, Cybil Guffy; and brother, Hugh Ward.
Brown-Bennett Alexander Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
