Way. Robert James Robert James Way, 80, Topeka, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at a Topeka hospice house.
He was born Oct. 6, 1924, in Elmdale, the son of James Walter and Agusta Elizabeth Dicker Way.
Mr. Way was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years before retiring in 1988.
He was an elder and active member of First Presbyterian Church of
Topeka.
He married Freddie Hinkle on Dec. 30, 1951, in Cottonwood Falls. She died in 1982.
Survivors include a son, Michael Way, Seattle, Wash.; a daughter, Julie Albright, Topeka; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was March 19, 2005, at First Presbyterian Church, Topeka. Penwell-Gabel MidTown Chapel was in charge of the service.
