White, Diana Dale Wickerst

Diana D. White, 59, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007, at her home in Cottonwood Falls.

The daughter of Harry Faye and Dolores Schinderling Wickherst, Diana Dale was born Nov. 10, 1947, at Huron, S.D.

She was married to Thomas Bray in 1967. They were divorced. She married Donald Allen in March, 1984, and he preceded her in death. She and Harry A. White were married April 12, 1990, at Centralia. He survives.

She was a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked at Northview and Midland Nursing Homes in Falls City Neb. Highland Care Center in Highland and Estridge Nursing Home in Centralia.

She is also survived by five daughters, Linda Lee West of Pass Christian, Miss., Sheryl Lynn Doiel of Hamburg, Iowa, Dawn Marie McFeeters of Springdale, Ark, Christina Renee Rosenbaum of Lafollette, Tenn. and Yvonne Lucille White of Cottonwood Falls; her mother of Cottonwood Falls; a brother, Douglas Dean Wickherst of Conway, Ark.; a sister, Peggy Ann Blank of Sheridan, Ark.; a step-son, Dean Allen Cape of Wellsville; 16 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her father.

A memorial service was held Thesday, Oct. 30, in the Life Church in Emporia with Pastor Tony Lantz officiating. Cremation has taken place.
