Whitehead, William
The death of Wm Whitehad, which occured Saturday, August 6th1890, brings sorrow to the hearts of all in this community.
He had been suffering for seven weeks with typhoid fever, and although every effort was made to bring him back to life, the fever proved too severe, and he, who a short time ago, was moving in our midst, a healthy, and hearty man is now at rest after work well done. He died at the age of forty having a wife and children to mourn his death.
r. Whitehead was always known as an honest, upright man and many were the sorrowing friends who followed him to his last resting place in the cemetery near Matfield. At the close of the funeral service, which was conducted by Rev. E C? of the Christian church..........extended to the bereaved family.
