The County Clerk has map of old cemetery locations. Also has Chautauqua County Plat Map Book for sale, includes present land owners, number of acres and location by township.
The Register of Deeds has map of old school house locations. The death records available in this office have recently been compiled from wills, affidavits, power of attorney, etc.
