JAMES H. FULLER DIED LAST NIGHT

Survived his Wife by Only Eighteen Days

HAD BEEN MARRIED 66 YEARS
Funeral Will Take Place at Son's Home Tomorrow Afternoon

James H. Fuller, a resident of Cherokee county since 1874, died last night at 9:27 o'clock at the home of his son, Elon G. Fuller, North Minnesota Ave. His wife died January 7 of this year in the same home a 9: 25 o'clock in the evening. They had been married sixty-six years. In the same room where his wife's funeral took place two weeks ago, the funeral rites of Mr. Fuller will be observed tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. The services will be conducted by the same minister who officiated two weeks ago--Rev. W.S. Smalley of the Presbyterian church. The remains will be laid to rest in the city cemetery beside the remains of Mrs. Fuller.

The cause of Mr. Fuller's death was old age. He was eighty-nine years of age and after the death of his wife, he failed rapidly. Mr. and Mrs. Fuller are survived be three children. Lester James Fuller of Butler county; Elon G. Fuller of Columbus; Levi C. Fuller of Cherryvale. Two children have died: Irene Throop died last April and Mrs. Mary Loveland died in 1875. James Harland Fuller was born April 18, 1821, in Clyde, Wayne county, New York. He moved to Michigan in 1836 and on October 24 1844, he married Miss Mary A. Bonney, who died here a couple of weeks ago. They moved in 1869 to Diamond, Mo., and to Columbus in 1874. While he lived in Michigan Mr. Fuller was a Lecturer on topics in the realm of religion, astronomy and temperance. Since coming to Kansas he has been a farmer until his retirement from active business several years ago. He was a life long member of theBaptist Church.
