Andrew Wurm was born January 23, 1861, Gols, Austria Hungary, and passed away at the home of his son, George, in Oberlin, May 17, 1933, at the age of seventy-two years.

He was married to Anna Rumpeltes in 186 and to this union were born 13 children, two of which preceded the father in death. Those remaining are Andy, George, and Matt Wurm of Oberlin; John, Bill and H.J. Wurm of Traer; Mrs. Lizzie Haas, Traer; Mrs. Susie Hunt, Mrs. Rosie Grill and Mrs. Mary Portschi of Denver; Mrs. Anna Hauptman of Herndon, and twenty-five grandchildren.

Funeral service were held at the George Wurm home Thursday, May 18, at 1:30 and at the Lutheran church northwest of Oberlin at 2:30, Rev. F. A. Wegener, officiation. Burial was made in the Lutheran cemetery. Funeral arrangements were in charge of the McClure Mortuary.
