PUEBLO, COLO---- Josephine Bosler, 100, died
Thursday (June 14, 2001) at Parkview Hospital in Pueblo.
She was born Feb. 12, 1901, at Decatur County, Kan. to Robert and Jennie
(Morton) Johnston. She was raised in Decatur County and attended rural school
and normal training for a teaching certificate.
In 1922, she married Nicholas C. Bosler at Colby,
Kan. She was a homemaker, and lived in Oberlin most of her life.
She was a member of the United Church of Oberlin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Nicholas C. Boser; one
daughter, Berniece Czuk; three brothers, Millard, Oren and Marvin Johnston;
and two sisters Orpha Bosler and Anna Hill.
Survivors include two sons, Gordon and wife, Nancy
of Fresno, Calif., and Wayne and wife Linda of Denver, Colo; three daughters,
Beatrice Krening of Fort Morgan, Colo., Carolyn Wallace and husband Ben of
Ardmore, Colo.; 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Services will be Monday, 10:30 a.m. at Paul's Funeral Home of Oberlin.
Interment will be at the Oberlin Cemetery.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. until time of the service on Monday.
Memorials may be given in her name to the United Church of Oberlin.
Paul's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
