MRS. BULLOCK DIES.
Mrs. C. V. Bullock, a former resident of
Oberlin, died at a hospital in Denver, Saturday,
November 5th, following and attack of
appendicitis, of but a few days duration.
She was taken sick on the first day of
November removed to the hospital from her home in
Denver on Thursday following, where death ensued
two days later.
The Bullock family made their home in Oberlin
for a number of years and Mrs. Bullock will be
well remembered by a good many people in Oberlin.
She leaves to mourn: Her husband, Mr. C. V.
Bullock; four daughters - Mrs. C. E. Pritchard,
Mrs. Mable Williams, Mrs. Lena Bullock, all of
Denver, and Mrs. Mamie Lindsey of Goodland; four
sons - Albert and Oliver of McCook, Frank of
Haigler and Roy of Elgin, Kansas.
Besides her husband and children she leaves:
Her mother, Mrs. E. C. [Catherine Charity]
Johnson and sister, Mrs. Dora Relph, of Colorado
Springs; three brothers - Charles Johnson of
California, Geo. Johnson of Lincoln, Nebr., and
Will Johnson of Haigler, Nebr.
Funeral services were held at Denver,
Colorado, Monday, November 7 and the body laid to
rest in Crown Hill Cemetery, Denver.
