About a year and a half ago, he and his daughter Tenie moved to Norcatur.

He had been failing in health since Christmas but was not seriously ill until the last two weeks when the physical gave way and his life departed to the realms eternal.

He leaves to mourn his loss ten children and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon August 23 under charge of Rev. Brown and Rev. Groseclose.  He was laid to rest by the side of his wife in the Norcatur cemetery.
