The Douglas County KS Rural and One Room School collection was contributed by Raymond Stone.
Many schools consolidated in 1959, to form Wakarusa Valley School District No. 98 including: Crutchfield No. 6, Washington Creek No. 22, Bloomington No. 31, Old Belvoir No. 26, Clinton No. 94, Weybright No. 4, New Belvoir No. 84, West Fairview No. 59, Lone Star No. 47, Sigel No. 8, Pleasant Grove No. 38 and Pleasant Valley No. 14. This was the largest consolidated rural school in Douglas County.
