Pioneer Cemetery
Ford County, Kansas
This cemetery is located near Spearville on Jewel Road. There are 4 stones that are unmarked and one that is so weathered that it is hard to read found in this unkept cemetery. There are recent flowers on the graves. There may be many unmarked graves here. There is a Santa Fe Trail marker down the road approximately 2 miles. I am including a picture of it as it might pertain to this cemetery. If anyone has any information about this cemetery, I would like to hear from you.
This marker sits on the Dry Route. The base was replaced and
the marker rededicated September 29, 1993.
