Alberta "Bertie" BROWN
9/16/1913 — 3/4/2006
She was born in Palco to I.A. and Gwendolen (Jones) Elliott. She married Oscar
Brown on March 4, 1935. He preceded her in death June 28, 2005. She was a
homemaker. Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Grindle, and Sandra
Thompson, two sisters, Ione Cobb, Luray, and Betty Wheeler, five grandchildren;
15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 2 stepgrandchildren; 6
stepgreat-grandchildren; and 4 step-great-great-grandchildren.
