Died... at her home in Hill City, Friday morning January 1st at one o'clock a.m., Mrs. Susan A. BUFFINGTON, age 46. Mrs. BUFFINGTON leaves a husband and four children to mourn her untimely departure two sons and two daughters; her maiden name was PETTET [compiler's note: Check the article right after this obituary]. She was raised in Marshall County, Illinois, married to Abraham BUFFINGTON, October 16, 1864, moved to eastern Kansas in 1870, and moved to Graham County in the spring of '87..... Rev. S. Atkins preached the funeral. The pall bearers were M. CARNEY, Chas SHELDON, J. E. McCARTY, J. M. ROBERTS, Ed WILCOX, and J. W. COLES. C. W. LIGHTFOOT, undertaker
