She was born Sept. 10, 1912, in Palco to Ray C. and Mary Edith (Truesdell) Hinkhouse.She married Wayne Cooley in 1952 in Boulder. He preceded her in death on March 21, 1983. She was a teacher and homemaker.Survivors include a daughter, Kathryn Craig, ; a sister, Olive Deapen, and 2 granddaughters.Services were Saturday at Stinemetz Funeral Home, 522 N. Pomeroy, Hill City, KS 67642; burial was in Wildhorse Township Cemetery, Bogue.
