Lila Estelle (Rusty) Deringer:

Lila Estelle (Rusty) Deringer died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2008 at Landsun Homes, Carlsbad, N.M. She was born June 25, 1922, in Wilton, Ark., to Frank R. and Sallie Lila Putnam.                             

She worked at Answerite Professional Service for nine years.

Survivors include a son, Bill Deringer, Carlsbad, N.M.; a daughter, Kathy Deringer, Las Vegas; a brother, Henry R. Putnam, Winfield; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kenneth Deringer, in 1952.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Hill City Cemetery.
