Cora Lea "Cork" Hachmeister

Cora Lea "Cork" Hachmeister, 75, Hill City, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, at Graham County Hospital, Hill City.

She was born Nov. 8, 1933, in Penokee to Charles Samuel and Ida Estella (Hatcher) Cafferty.

She married Donald Hachmeister on Jan. 20, 1951, in Hill City. She was director of medical records at Graham County Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Charles Hachmeister, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Bill Hachmeister, Topeka; a daughter, Cheri Swanstrom, Sterling, Va.; two sisters, Louise Cameron, Watsonville, Calif., and Eleanor Morel, Jennings; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Grace Lutheran Church, Hill City; burial in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
