Born in Graham County, Kansas. Son of John & Elizabeth (Billinger) Herman. He attended Holcomb schools. Survivors include his wife, of the home, two sons, Tom & Richard Herman, two daughters, Becky Budke, & Roxanne Priest, a brother, Nick Herman, a sister, Eleanor Kreutzer, & eight grandchildren. Burial in Valley View Cemetery, Garden City, Kansas, Finney County.
