Lyle L. Jackson:

U.S. ARMY VETERAN ; Medical Company 325th. Airborne:

Lyle L. Jackson, 77, Goodland, died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, at Vibra Hospital, Thornton, Colo. He was born Nov. 16, 1930, in Penokee to Edgar William and Ella Vera (Lamb) Jackson. He attended a country school in Graham County, and high school in Hill City, Lenora and Goodland.

He married Nancy Carol Meyer in May 1955 in Goodland. They later divorced. He married Alice L. Johnson on March 17, 1962. She preceded him in death.

He served in the U.S. Army, where he was in the Medical Company 325th Airborne. He was a bricklayer.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol Robinson, Lyla George, two brothers, Lionel Jackson, and Larry Jackson, a sister, Jeannie Pyles, four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Mountain time at First Christian Church, Goodland; burial following in Goodland Cemetery.
