He was born Feb. 12, 1921, south of Hill City to Frank and Emmeline (Hildebrand)
Johnson. He was a 1939 graduate of Hill City High School. He married Betty L.
Strong on May 7, 1946, in Hays. He was a farmer, woodworker and carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Larry Johnson, a daughter,
Charlene Cook, a brother, John Johnson, and 2 grandsons. He was preceded in
death by a son, Frank Johnson.
