VETERAN WWII WOMAN'S ARMY CORPS
Julia E. Knobel, 85, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, at Graham County Hospital,
Hill City. She was born March 25, 1917, in Laramie, Wyo., Daughter of Henry B.
and Dorothy (Apple) Koch.
She married Harold Knobel on Oct. 15, 1950, near Studley. He died May 18, 1984.
She was a longtime area resident.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry, and Raymond, two sisters, Marie DePietro, and
Dorothy Jones, two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A son, Chris, and four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Burial in Morland Cemetery
