Born in Hill City. Son of Ray Lewis Sr. & Abbie Marie (Bass) La Rue. He married Virginia Currier May 16, 1954, in Hoxie. Survivors include his wife, a son, Tony LaRue, a daughter, Nancy Wadell, 2 grandchildren, & a great-granddaughter. Burial in Hoxie Cemetery, Sheridan County, Ks.
