Don R. Legere, 81, Russell, formerly of Hill City and Hays, died Thursday,
Nov. 15, 2007, at his home. He was born June 1, 1926, in Macomb, Ill. to Louis
A. and Martha Leta Beghytol Legere. He was a 1944 graduate of Hill City High
School. He married Berdena Hildebrand on Oct. 19, 1946, in Hill City. He
operated Don Legere Auction and Realty, Hays, before moving to Russell and was
associated with United Country Realtors.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; five daughters, Rebecca Stites, Rhonda
Yost, Nancy Harman, Donna Seibel, and Mary Neely, six brothers; two sisters; and
nine grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Methodist Church,
Russell; graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Hill City Cemetery.
