Wilbur C. LLOYD:

U.S. ARMY VETERAN WWII:

Wilbur C. Loyd, 90, Phillipsburg, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007, at Phillips County Hospital. He was born July 27, 1917, in Penokee to George W. and Ona (Clark) Loyd.
He married Mildred C. (Hedge) Loyd on
Jan. 14, 1946, in Beloit. She preceded him in death on Aug. 30, 1979. He was a installer/repairman at A. T. & T. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during World War II.

Survivors include two sons, Wayne Loyd, and Paul Loyd, a sister, Beth Reidel, and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg; burial in Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg, with military honors by Fort Riley honor guard.
