Dale L. Lyon, 86, Hill City, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, at Graham County
Hospital, Hill City. He was born Feb. 23, 1921, in Norcatur to Wesley William
and Lola Ethyl (Goodman) Lyon. He married Phyllis N. Wente on Sept. 4, 1946. She
preceded him in death Sept. 17, 1991. He later married Agnes Shoemaker on Jan.
1, 1994. He was a Standard Oil bulk jobber.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Dennis Lyon, and Doyle Lyon,
a daughter, Dayle Lynnette Luck, a sister, Margaret Richards, seven
grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Hill City, Kansas.
