Sam Metcalf:

Sam Metcalf, 44, of Hill City, died Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at the Graham County Hospital in Hill City. He was born Dec. 6, 1963, in Norton to John William and Trudy A. (Hall) Metcalf. He married Peggy Kowalke on April 15, 2003, in Hays. He was a laborer.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Justin Metcalf, his father, a brother, Jeff Metcalf, a half-brother, Paul Metcalf, and a half- sister, Beth Metcalf, His mother preceded him in death.

Burial is in the Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Hill City.
