Marilyn Ryan:

 

Marilyn Ryan, 67, Salina, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2007. She was born June 10, 1940, in Graham County to William and Evelyn Margaret (Trott) VanLoenen. She graduated from Bogue High School, Asbury School of Nursing in 1982, and also attended Fort Hays State University. She was a registered nurse at Asbury Hospital, Stat Care and Com Care, all of Salina. She married James A. Ryan on June 6, 1959, in Bogue.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Richard Ryan and Mark W. Ryan, a daughter, Julie Heidrick, three brothers, Floyd VanLoenen, Richard VanLoenen, and Douglas VanLoenen six grandchildren; two step-granddaughters; and a great-granddaughter. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at University United Methodist Church, Salina.

Memorials are suggested to University United Methodist Church, 1509 S. Santa Fe, Salina, KS 67401, Tammy Walker Cancer Center of Salina or Hospice of Salina, 730 Holly Lane, Box 2238, Salina, KS 67401 in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, Salina.
