Bernice Evelyn (McCoy) Siemers-Carter, 93, Russell, died Tuesday, March 6, 2007,
at Wheatland Nursing Center, Russell.
She was born Nov. 28, 1913, in Hill City, daughter of Ora and Dollie (Cullum)
McCoy. She attended school in Hill City.
She married Irvin Orval Siemers on Sept. 20, 1931. He preceded her in death on
March 29, 1967. She later married Willard Robert Carter on Dec. 29, 1973, in
Luray. She worked seven years at Russell City Hospital.
Survivors include her husband of the home; a son, Galen Siemers, three sisters,
Doris Motzner and Lili Mae McClure, and Ethel McClure.
Burial in Luray City Cemetery.
