Mary Ellen Smith, 64, Hill City, died Saturday, June 23, 2007, at Memorial Hospital, Abilene. She was born June 16, 1943, in Norton to George Elton and Wanda Mae (Bougher) Scott. She married Galen Smith on Sept. 27, 1959, in Norton. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; three sons, James Smith and Joseph Smith, and Jason Smith, a daughter, Julie Breinig, a brother, Terry Scott, five sisters, Marilyn Scott, Marlene Lee, Billie White and Georgia Patton, and Judy Skaggs, 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Burial in the Hill City Cemetery.
