Subject: Jewel Co. Cemetery Index Book
If someone has a cemetery index book for Jewell Co., I would appreciate
it if they would search for Cashman and Myers in Pleasant View Cemetery
in Montrose. Per a family obit there is a Cashman family plot there,
and some Myers may also be buried in the same cemetery.

Subject: HOPKINS, Robert Kirtley
Robert Kirtley was born on May 18,1853 in Bedford, Va. He was the son of
Tilghman and Mary Ann (ROACH) HOPKINS. Tilghman was killed in the Civil War
when Robert was only 10 years of age. Robert along with his sister Minevera,
was sent to Jewell, Kansas by his mother to be raised by Tilghman's sister
Jane Martha (HOPKINS) MONTGOMERY. Rrobet married on Feb 10, 1887 in Ionia,
Jewell, Kansas to Nancy Ellen TEEL, daughter of Abraham Joel and Sarah Ann
(KINZIE) TEEL.
Robert died 29 May 1922 in Peru, Miami, Indiana, is buried in Hoover, Cass,
Indiana.
Nancy Ellen (Teel) died 29 Dec 1907 in Logansport, Cass, Indiana, is buried
in Hoover, Cass, Indiana.
Robert and Nancy had the following children:

Seek descendants of David & Anna Mary (ADOLPH) DALE who lived in Jewell
County. They were members of the Limestone church in 1877. Elias DALE
was a member there, also. I have David and Anna DALE's children as
Amanda b. 20 Mar 1874; Martha b. 1879; Rosa b. 14 Jan 1883.
