| Obituary of EDNA E. BLANKLEY |
| Edna E. Blankley, 91, died Dec. 18, 2000,
at St. Luke Living Center in Marion. The daughter of John W. and
Sarah (Franzen) Hein, she was born June 24, 1909, at Hillsboro and was a
lifetime resident of the area. She had been a restaurant cook at Town and Country Caf�, Florence, for 36 years. A member of Aulne United Methodist Church, where services were held Thursday afternoon, she was well-known in the Marion and Florence community. Survivors include her husband, Lawrence, of Marion; son, David Penwell, Marion; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The Rev. Bill Dyar officiated at the service. Music was provided by Eugene Just and Wanda Williams. Casket bearers were Richard Hein, Walter Hein, Larry Olsen, Garry Hamm, Mike Fruechting, and Jim Davis. Burial was in Marion Cemetery. Memorial funds have been established with Aulne United Methodist Church and St. Luke Living Center. |
