| Obituary of DORIS EULENE DALKE |
| Doris Eulene Dalke, 96, Hillsboro, died
Oct. 28, 2000, at Hillsboro Community Medical Center. Born July 7, 1904, at Worden, she was the daughter of Bertel and Ellen Pippert Foster. She married Abraham H. Dalke on June 14, 1931, at Lawrence. They lived in Hillsboro. He died in 1968. She was a homemaker and member of Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church. In addition to her husband, a son, Paul Dalke, preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, John, Daniel, and James, all of Hillsboro; two daughters, Ruth Hamm, Hillsboro, and Mary Allen, Newalla, Okla.; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church, Hillsboro, with the Rev. Gaylord Goertzen officiating. Burial was in Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established with the church. |
