| Obituary of EDMONA F. COLVIN |
| Edmona F. Colvin, 83, Hutchinson, died May
2, 2000, at Hutchinson Hospital. She was born Feb. 12, 1917, at Lost
Springs, the daughter of August and Clara Hartke Engel. A Hutchinson resident since 1935, moving from Marion County, she was a homemaker, a former legal secretary, and retired as office manager from City Beverage. She graduated from Salt City Business College, Hutchinson. On June 18, 1946, she married Thomas B. Colvin at Wichita. He died June 16, 1998. Survivors include three sons, Thomas E. Colvin, Spokane, Wash., Michael A. Colvin, Columbia, Mo., William A. Colvin, Hutchinson; two daughters, Patricia A. Kueck and Janis J. Alstatt, both of Hutchinson; a sister Elsie Spangler, Salina; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Engel; two sisters, Erline Meisinger and Estella Bowers; and a grandson, Matt Kueck. Funeral services were Friday at Johnson & Sons Memorial Chapel, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Steve Hysom officiating. Burial was in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Memorials may be sent to the TECH Infant and Toddler program. |
