Obituary of HOMER D. ENNS |
Homer D. Enns, 68, well known Hillsboro
area dairy farmer, died July 31, 2000, at Baptist Medical Center in
Oklahoma City, Okla. Born Nov. 27, 1931, at Hillsboro, he was the son of Jacob and Sara Klassen Enns. He operated a dairy farm for 48 years, was a member of the Dairy Shrine Club, Dairy Herd Improvement Association, the Holstein Cattle Association, and the Golden Circle Campers. He also was an active member of Trinity Mennonite Church, Hillsboro, were services were held Saturday morning with Pastors Paul and Grace Brunner officiating. Burial was in the Johannestal Cemetery. Memorial funds have been established in his name with Mennonite Central Committee and Children's Haven International. Survivors are his wife, Louetta; son, Richard and his wife Debbie of Hillsboro; daughter, Christine Steiner and her husband Jay of Albany, Ore.; brother, Lauren Enns of Hillsboro; and eight grandchildren. |
