| Obituary of LEROY E. BRITTON |
| Leroy E. Britton, 59, Florence, died March
23, 2000, at El Dorado. Born Aug. 3, 1940, at Newton, he was the son of Howard Eugene and Josephine Isabell (Seeney) Britton. He was retired from working in the oil fields and as a welder. Services were held Tuesday afternoon at Hillcrest Cemetery, Florence. Survivors include sons, John of Missouri, Don of Amarillo, Texas, and Mike of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Shannon Britton, Nicoma Park; daughters, Verna Grosse, El Dorado, Okla., Leah Schmidt and Ina Britton of Marion; brother, David Britton, Omaha, Neb.; sisters, Linda Britton, Florence, Janie Munsy, Alamagordo, N.M., and Nelta Harder, Emporia; and five grandchildren. A memorial fund has been established in his name with Marion County Home Health Services. |
