Obituary of ORLIN "RED" FLEMING |
Orlin "Red" Fleming, 78, of Peabody, died
Feb. 17, 2000. Born Aug. 29, 1921 at Lincolnville, he was the son of
Herman and Mary Anne (Ohmie) Fleming. In 1968 he married Mildred Cracraft. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; two brothers, Alvin and Harvey Fleming; and three sisters, Elma Davis, Verna Riffel, and Joyce Reagen. Survivors include one daughter, Billie Jo Fleming of Peabody; one step-daughter, Cindy Hughes; two sisters, Ruby Hatfield and Ella Gilkey, both of Herington. Services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Prarie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody, with Pastor Jim Pohlman officiating. Interment was in Prarie Lawn Cemetery. Memorials have been established in his name with the Peabody City Library and Peabody High School Scholarship Fund. |
