Obituary of EDGAR "ED" WIEDERSTEIN |
Edgar "Ed" Wiederstein, 79, of Wichita,
died Aug. 1, 2000, in Wichita. He was born June 28, 1921, in Hillsboro, the son of Leo and Martha (Reiswig) Wiederstein. He was a retired carpenter and Sears Towne East employee. Survivors include his wife, Carrie; sons, Larry and Roxie Wiederstein of Parsons, Glenn and Marcia Wiederstein of Beverly Hills, Fla.; daughters Janet and Milton Stevens of Macon, Ga., Sharon and Tom Synstegard of Wichita, Linda Ryder of Wichita, and Jetta and Charles Williams of Haysville; brothers, Allen W. Wiederstein of Hitchcock, Alfred W. Wiederstein of Shaddock, Okla., Hugo W. Wiederstein of Newton; sisters, Ruby Moffitt of Tampa, and Alice Mullins of Carlyle; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Burial was Aug. 4, 2000, at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Hillsboro. Services were held following the burial at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wichita. A memorial has been established at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1451 E. 47th St. South in Wichita. |
